284-06 ackley improved dies

Looking for some help here. Im looking at a rebarreled FN mauser. The barrel is stamped .284-06 ackley improved.

Son is selling the estate and cant find the dies or any info on the rifle.

Can I just use 280AI dies?

My guess it's some chambering that allows the use of 30-06 brass. Figured someone here might know something about this.

You may need to get a cast of the chamber so you can get the exact dimensions. It may indeed be a 280 Ackley, but there is equal chance that it isn’t.
